Injured Animal Fund
Please donate to the Cumberland County Injured Animal Fund by registering your Food Lion MVP card on the Food Lion website. When you visit their website, please be sure to make the following selections:
- Click the "Select Organization" button.
- A pop-up window will appear (please be sure any pop-up blockers are turned off).
- Select State: NC
- Select City: Fayetteville
- Select Organization: CCAC Injured Animal Fund
- Click the "OK" button, which will return you to the previous screen entitled Register MVP Cards.
- Then, click the "Add MVP Cards" button.
- On the next page, fill in the approriate information and click through the form to completion.
When you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated
to the Cumberland County Injured Animal Fund.
About Us
The Cumberland County Animal Services Office enforces all state and local laws
pertaining to the ownership, regulation and control of dogs, cats, and other
animals within the County. The department is responsible for picking up stray
animals, livestock, exotic animals as well as nuisance wildlife and rabid
animals. Animal Services officers respond to calls all over the County, check for
compliance with rabies vaccination laws, as well as dog and cat license
mandates. The Department also investigates all animal bites as mandated by
North Carolina law.
During normal duty hours, please call: 910-321-6852. However, to ONLY report animal bites or injured animals after normal duty hours, then please call 323-1500.
