Cumberland County Cares

Interested in nominating someone, a group, or agency to receive the "Cumberland County Cares" award for their contribution to a better quality of life for all of us in Cumberland County. Please download and fill out the "Cumberland County Cares" Award Nomination Form. Send the nominations to Marsha Fogle at PO Box 1829, Fayetteville, NC 28302. Then join us on the second scheduled County Commissioners meeting of every month to acknowledge and recognize the accomplishments of the selected winner. The selected winner will not only be recognized by the commissioners but also by all in attendance, those watching the meeting on television, and those visiting our website.

2006 NACIO Awards of Excellence Competition

Cumberland County received multiple awards across several categories from The National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO). Congratulations to all who helped achieve this recognition!

    Awarded: Excellence for the Speech to Coordinating Council on Older Adults

Awards will be presented at the awards dinner in the McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum, Chicago, IL on August 4, 2006.
