FEMA 

FEMA Disaster Recovery

The deadline has passed for survivors to register for disaster assistance from FEMA and to apply for a U.S. Small Business Administration low-interest disaster loan, but help is still available for Unmet Needs of NC Hurricane Florence Survivors.

Since the federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Florence, Cumberland County residents have been approved for nearly $18.4 million in state and federal funds, read more.

The deadline to have debris reported was Nov. 18. At this time the County’s collection of storm debris is wrapping up. Citizens who did not report debris by the deadline will be responsible for ensuring that the debris is appropriately disposed of.
