Cumberland County Government Unveils New Website

Nov 28, 2017

FAYETTEVILLECumberland County Government has unveiled a new website designed to be easier to use and navigate. The new site also features a responsive design, which is ideal when viewing on mobile phones and tablets.

The new website was streamlined to reduce the number of links, tabs and pages, allowing users to quickly find information about County services and departments. The website was also redesigned to be more attractive and modern in appearance.

Prominent tabs and buttons more easily allow users to find what they are looking for, such as applications, forms and documents; county departments; payment for taxes or pet license fees; how to do business with the County and quick information about Cumberland County Government.

The website was launched in conjunction with new agenda software. The Board of Commissioners page features the new software that makes it quick and easy for users to find information and agenda for past, present and upcoming public meetings.

The County’s Public Information Office and Information Services departments partnered to create the new website, which was built in-house and uses content-management software that allows departments to update their information when needed.
