Adult Health Services Expand at Health Department March 13

Adult health services will expand at the Cumberland County Department of Public Health March 13 through its partnership with Stedman-Wade Health Services Inc. The Wade Family Medical Center – Adult Health Clinic will offer services at the Health Department, 1235 Ramsey St., Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The public and media are invited to an open house and meet-and-greet event with clinical staff on Tuesday, March 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Health Department’s third-floor atrium and boardroom.

Open house attendees will have an opportunity to meet Dr. Tandeka Burks, who will provide services at the adult health clinic. Burks is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with the American Board of Family Medicine.

Other Health Department and adult health clinic staff will also be available during the event.

“We’re excited to further the Health Department’s partnership with Stedman-Wade to provide comprehensive adult services five days a week,” Holder said. “We hope that our citizens will take advantage of this opportunity to receive quality healthcare.”
