North Carolina State Extension announced that Jessica Autry is completing an Extension internship this summer with the Cumberland County Center.

A summer intern works with Cooperative Extension personnel to deliver hands-on, educational programs. Job shadowing and mentoring help interns learn about the mission and work of North Carolina Cooperative Extension.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Jessica join our team this summer,” said Cumberland County Cooperative Extension Director Lisa Childers. “Her strong ethic combined with her desire to work with youth has been an asset to our 4-H Youth Programs.”

Autry is a senior from North Carolina State University majoring in Animal Science and is a native of Benson, N.C.
