Cumberland County July 4 Closings

Cumberland County Government offices and the court system will be closed Friday, July 3, for the Independence Day holiday.

All Solid Waste landfills and container sites will be open July 3, but will be closed on Saturday, July 4. For more information, go to co.cumberland.nc.us/solid-waste or call 910-321-6920.

The Animal Shelter will be closed on Friday and Saturday, July 3-4. If you need immediate assistance from Animal Control, call the Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500.

County facilities remain closed to the public due to COVID-19. Most business can be conducted online or by phone. Visit the County’s main website at co.cumberland.nc.us for information on how to connect with county government.

The Cumberland County Public Library is currently closed to the public, but offers services and programs for all ages online at cumberland.lib.nc.us. Book drops are open at all locations and items may be returned. All late fees have been waived.
