FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Home lawns can be great source of joy and pride for many homeowners, but they can also be a lot of work. Join Cumberland County Consumer Horticulture Extension Agent Allen West and N.C. State University Turfgrass Specialist Daniel Freund for Home Lawns 101 Seminar on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension Center located at 301 E. Mountain Dr., Fayetteville, N.C. The cost for the seminar is $10. Light refreshments will be available.
Attendees will learn about managing soils, irrigation, weeds, insects, disease and more to help them achieve their desired lawn. The seminar will also provide information and maintenance calendars for Centipede, Bermuda, Zoysia and St. Augustine grasses.
