Cumberland County residents can now make donations and payments to Cumberland County Animal Services using a convenient, secure online payment system.
Animal Services is the latest County department to go live with an online payment system in partnership with PayIt following the Department of Planning and Inspections, which implemented an online payment system last month.
Residents can use the system to make donations to the County’s Animal Medical Fund, as well as to pay citations, and fees for pet adoption, pet reclamation and rabies vaccinations.
The digital payment service will allow customers to make payments 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service is secure and ensures confidential financial transactions with instant confirmations.
“We are very happy to be able to better assist our customers more quickly by offering this option,” said Cumberland County Animal Services Director Elaine Smith. “We are fortunate to have many people from all over the country who want to donate to help support the animals in our shelter and this will make the donation process easier and more convenient.”
