Electronic Waste Recycling Drive

  • Dates: 17 – 17 Nov, 2018
  • Location: Fayetteville, NC, United States
  • Address: 117 Dick Street

An Electronic Waste (e-waste) Drive will take place Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Cumberland County Courthouse parking lot at 117 Dick Street, Fayetteville.

The e-waste drive is part of an effort to reduce waste and support a state law that prohibits disposing of computer equipment, televisions and other electronics in North Carolina landfills.

Electronics that can be recycled include, but are not limited to, lamps, vacuums, televisions 50 inches or smaller in size, DVD players, radios, old computer cords, computers and small kitchen appliances. Almost anything with a cord can be recycled at the drive. The electronics will be collected and recycled by Cumberland County Solid Waste Management.

Televisions larger than 50 inches, large appliances, and hazardous waste materials will not be accepted at the drive.

The e-waste drive is a partnership between Cumberland County, City of Fayetteville, Sustainable Sandhills and Fayetteville Beautiful.

County Solid Waste accepts electronics at all of its convenience centers and the Ann Street Landfill year round during normal business hours. Go to or call 910-321-6830 for more information on items that can be recycled.
