Do I Need a Business License or Business Permit?

Cumberland County no longer requires a business license, only that you list your business personal property with the Tax Administration office each year in the month of January. New forms and instructions will be available on the Tax Administration Web Site the first week of January each year.

Please contact the State Department of Revenue and also the local municipality, if you are in one, to see what licenses they require. If you have employees, you will need to contact the IRS office in the Systel building on Green Street.
