About Us
The Cumberland County Finance Office provides general accounting, payroll and purchasing services as well as cash forecasting, investing, debt management, fixed asset control and budgetary control. It is also responsible for reporting to management and state and federal agencies as required in accordance with North Carolina general statutes, federal laws and regulations as well as generally accepted accounting principles. In addition, it coordinates with department heads in the preparation and publishing of the recommended annual budget.
