Who is Eligible for the Family Planning Clinic?

All female citizens of Cumberland County who are of childbearing age.

What can you do for me?

We provide Birth Control Pills, Depo Provera, Diaphragm and contraceptive foam, IUD Checks and Removals, Condoms, Referral for Natural Family Planning, referral for Norplant, Referral for Sterilization, Physical Exam and Pap smear, Family Planning Method Problem Assessment, Education, Counseling. We also provide counseling and referral for vasectomy for males.

What does it cost?

The fees are based on income and number of persons in your household (sliding fee scale). Medicaid is accepted, self pay, insurance, and Carolina Access.

How can I schedule an appointment and where are you located?

You can schedule an appointment by calling 433-3651 Monday thru Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. We are located on the 2nd Floor of the E. Newton Smith Public Health Center.
