Maintenance Department
The Cumberland County Buildings & Grounds Division of the Maintenance Department is responsible for the up-keep of all County buildings including the Old Courthouse, the New Courthouse, Central Maintenance Facility and Building Maintenance Facility.

The Cumberland County Carpentry Shop provides carpentry related work and general building upkeep for all County departments. It also coordinates plans, schedules and projects with the Assistant County Manager, other divisions of maintenance and engineering.
The Cumberland County Public Building Equipment Maintenance Division of the Maintenance Department provides managerial and supervisory work in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the services and activities related to air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration. It is also responsible for ensuring appropriate preventive maintenance for all County buildings.
The Cumberland County Landscaping Division of the Maintenance Department is responsible for the upkeep of County-owned trees, shrubs, flowers and turf. It plans and implements landscaping at new County facilities as well as repairs and restores landscaping at the older facilities.
