The Cumberland County Department of Public Utilities provides the planning, development and implementation of programs
to expand and extend water and/or sanitary sewer services into the unincorporated areas of the County, primarily through
the organization and administration of water and sewer districts established by the Board of County Commissioners.
Notice of Public Hearing:
The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will hold a community meeting at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2009,
at Gray’s Creek Middle School located at 5151 Celebration Drive, Hope Mills, NC and a public hearing at 6:45 p.m.,
Monday, October 19, 2009, in Room 119 in the Cumberland County Courthouse located at 117 Dick Street, Fayetteville, NC,
to consider creating a Water and Sewer District for the Gray’s Creek area pursuant to NCGS 162A-86.
