MONTHLY RADIO SHOW
Cumberland County Veterans Services has joined with WFNC AM 640 to offer a once a month radio show for veterans.
The show is held on the first Thursday of each month.
It airs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. as part of Sound Off.
The county Office Staff fields questions about veterans benefits and programs and offers updated information concerning veterans' affairs.
About Us
The Cumberland County Veterans Service Office assists veterans and their dependents
obtain benefits to which they are entitled by: submitting claims for benefits to the
Department of Veterans Affairs; reviewing and following up on decisions of the
Department of Veterans Affairs for fairness and accuracy; and writing and submitting
appeals to the Board of Veterans Appeals for disputed decisions.
These services are always "Free" to the veterans and their dependents.
The Cumberland County Veterans Service Office operating hours are
Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
(Closed for lunch from 12 noon to 1 p.m. daily and all day Fridays).
