More than 42,000 veterans live in Cumberland County. The Cumberland County Veterans Services Department provides these
veterans with a local place to obtain advice on benefits, as well as assisting veterans with filing and tracking claims.
We not only assist the veterans but we will also provide assistance to veterans spouses and dependents — the regulations
and rules governing veterans benefits can be quite confusing. VA benefits and services offered fall into these major

Any Cumberland County veteran or their family member who has questions concerning benefits or needs assistance with the VA is
welcome to contact our office during the days and times shown below. We will gladly assist in any way we can.
Hours of Operation:
Visitation (counseling with a Veteran Service Officer)
Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Normal Office hours (available for telecommunications)
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (910-677-2970)
NOTE: The limited time available for visitation is due to the amount of work required to support and file each claim that
arises from a visitation. For those who work a normal 40 hour week and are unable to come to our office during visiting hours,
please call us and we will make every attempt to assist you
with your needs, via telephone, faxes, emails, etc...
