The staff assisted area that offers you the short-term skill development or long-term training you need to land a good job.
Unemployment Insurance provides temporary income for workers who are voluntarily unemployed. This program enables you to have income while you search for a job at your normal skill and earning level.
Unemployment Counseling is provided free of charge by a professionally trained staff. We will help you discover your interests and abilities and choose a career. We can also help you during career changes or adjustments. We are committed to helping you become successful.
On-The-Job Training is available when you need additional training to perform a job. In this program employers pay you a salary while you work and learn the job skills.
Financial Aid and Occupational Skills Training are available if you decide that more education or training is what you need. The Career Development area accesses information and services from numerous financial aid programs. Through the Community College System, you can enter programs that take only weeks or earn one or two year degrees. You can enter the Health Care field or become a truck driver, an accountant, a welder, an electrician, etc.
