Dec 06, 2022

Cumberland County will host an information session for nonprofit organizations interested in applying for assistance through the County’s Nonprofit Fiscal Recovery Assistant Program Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.

The Cumberland County Nonprofit Fiscal Recovery Assistance Program allows nonprofit organizations to apply for up to $50,000 in direct assistance to reimburse organization expenses related to:

  • Payroll, which includes wages and associated payroll taxes; and
  • Occupancy, which includes rental lease payments, mortgage (for organization property) and utilities.

The information session, which will include a question-and-answer period with County staff, will be held virtually and the session will be recorded and posted to the County’s website for those who are not able to attend.

To register for the virtual information session, go to https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7210961620801032789. Registrations should receive a confirmation email containing instructions for joining the webinar.

Immediately following the information session, the application will become available on the County’s website at https://www.cumberlandcountync.gov/departments/commissioners-group/commissioners/american-rescue-plan.

As part of this program, the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners has approved a policy that allows for the creation of a program to provide financial assistance to 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(19) nonprofit organizations. The approved policy can be found at nonprofit-policy-adopted.pdf (cumberlancountync.gov).
