Strickland Arrest - Update
Cumberland County, NC; William James Strickland (45 YOA) of 5043 Voyageur Drive in Fayetteville was arrested on Saturday morning for four counts of 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor. His bond was increased from $1 million dollars secure to $4 million dollars secure. His next appearance in court will be 9 a.m. in courtroom 2B October 19th.
Investigators from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office Juvenile Division had received information on this case, which led to a Saturday morning search warrant at his residence. During the search, evidence of sexually explicit material of minors was discovered. Some of the material discovered occurred at least 7 years ago.
The investigation continues by the Sheriff's Office. Should additional charges be filed, they will be released through this office.
