For Immediate Release August 7, 2001
Cumberland County Public Library & Information Center (CCPL&IC) now offers its customers access to an electronic test preparation resource. This resource features study courses and practice tests for over 40 different exams in five different categories such as professional licensing and certification exams, civil service exams, academic exams, academic courses and citizenship exams. Based on official exams, practice tests provide instant scoring and thorough explanations of answers, whether correct or incorrect. Students preparing for the SAT or ASVAB, along with adults studying for the GED or civil service exams, are just a few examples of people that will benefit from this online learning experience. This resource can be accessed through CCPL&IC’s website from a library computer or any computer with Internet access. Log on to http://www.cumberland.lib.nc.us. From the home page, select “Electronic Resources”, then “Test Preparation Resource” to begin your study session. Access from a computer not at a library location requires a CCPL&IC card number. For more information, contact Amanda Crabtree, Public Information Coordinator, at acrabtre@cumberland.lib.nc.us at by calling 483-1580 ext. 119. |
