Federal Grant Provides Library Services
and Materials for Hispanic Community

Bookmobile Targets Hispanic Community

Beginning in January 2002, Cumberland County Public Library & Information Center’s (CCPL&IC) Bookmobile will add stops at locations targeting Hispanic communities across Cumberland County. Special collections of Spanish materials and a Spanish speaking staff member will be available to assist customers. For more information about these new Bookmobile stops, call 483-0543.

New Spanish Books Now Available at Select Library Locations

New Spanish language books are now available at the following CCPL&IC locations: Headquarters Library, Spring Lake Branch, North Regional Branch, and the Bookmobile.

Project Funding

These projects are 100% supported with federal LSTA funds made possible through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
