Elected to National Board

Jerry Thrasher, Director of Cumberland County Public Library & Information Center (CCPL&IC) was recently elected to the Public Library Association (PLA) Board of Directors.

During the three–year term, Thrasher will serve on the Library Development Steering Committee including serving as liaison for the following sub–committees: Rural Library Services and Small and Medium–Sized Libraries.

Thrasher was previously elected to the PLA Board of Directors in 1996. The Public Library Association is a division of the American Library Association.
