FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Solid Waste is hosting a Cumberland Clean Litter Pick-Up event on Saturday, April 20, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Individuals or groups of all ages are encouraged to participate and have the choice to pick their cleanup location outside of Fayetteville city limits. Volunteers will collect litter between 8 a.m. and noon. County Solid Waste employees will collect and dispose of all trash bags.

Volunteers will be provided trash bags, gloves, hand sanitizer and water and will also receive an event T-shirt and a reusable bag.
Volunteers who have arranged to retrieve their Cumberland Clean items before the event may go directly to their cleanup location. Volunteers who have not retrieved their items prior to the event can meet with Solid Waste employees at Festival Park, located at 335 Ray Ave., Fayetteville on the morning of April 20 to gather their litter pick-up items.
