The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners has authorized the use of a portion of the County’s American Rescue Plan Act allocation for the ARP-eligible expenditures of Restoring Pre-Pandemic Employment. This is a mechanism that allows the County to use a portion of its ARP allocation to fund employee salaries, thereby using the freed-up funding that would have been used for these salaries to complete critical ARP-related projects with greater flexibility and less of an administrative burden on County staff. Initiatives listed on this page are funded in this manner.
Nonprofit Fiscal Recovery Assistance Program
Cumberland County has reopened the Nonprofit Fiscal Recovery Assistance Program to allow more nonprofit organizations to apply for assistance through the program. Nonprofit organizations have until Feb. 29, 2024, to submit applications for the program.
