America 250 NC is North Carolina’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of our state in the development of the United States. This website reflects the research and focus of the celebration of America’s 250th for Cumberland County, North Carolina.
Cumberland County’s celebration of America’s 250th will include a publication on the Liberty Point Resolves and a mural on the side of the Headquarters Library that will go up on the Ray Avenue side of the building in the spring of 2026. This is part of a community grant from the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
