The Justice Services Department promotes public safety through support for the local criminal justice system. The department also supervises and rehabilitates justice-involved individuals through a wide array of supportive services so that they may achieve their full potential as contributing members of their community.
The mission of Cumberland County Justice Services is to provide the local judiciary with an alternative to incarceration while maintaining public safety and the integrity of the Criminal Justice System. It is also the mission of Justice Services to promote the exchange of information and cooperation among local Criminal Justice Agencies.
Justice Services support holistic efforts through continuous programming, such as Pretrial Services, Treatment Courts, the Local Reentry Council and Juvenile Crime Prevention Council.
