The Cumberland County Department of Public Health Laboratory is a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) certified moderate complexity laboratory. The laboratory is enrolled in a proficiency program through the American Proficiency Institute in which all lab staff participates quarterly. Lab tests are performed in the areas to include: Hematology, Serology, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Glucose and Glucose Tolerance.
