Births Occurring at Cumberland County Hospitals
Births that occur at area hospitals are registered through that medical facility. Births that occur in the presence of a certified nurse-midwife are processed and submitted to the Local Registrar by the certified midwife on the mother's behalf.
Certificates for births and deaths that occur in Cumberland County can be ordered, for a fee, from the Cumberland County Register of Deeds.
