County Public Utilities Launches Online Payment Service

Apr 17, 2024

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Public Utilities has launched MyCCNCPay, a digital payment platform powered by PayIt, which will allow county utility customers to make convenient, secure online payments. In addition, Cumberland County offers an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for residents to make payments by phone.

MyCCNCPay offers residents real-time payment processing for utility bills. Customers can pay online as a guest or create a personalized profile that securely stores utility account information, payment history and payment methods. Using MyCCNCPay, residents can also be notified of upcoming recurring payments.

“We aim to make utilities payments as easy and convenient as possible through the launch of MyCCNCPay,” said Amy Hall of Cumberland County Public Utilities. “Along with this new online experience, we are pleased to offer a modern experience for our customers who prefer to pay over the phone – bringing flexibility and choice to customers as they pay their bills.”

The new platform equips Cumberland County staff members with an administration portal to easily view and manage transactions and the IVR offering reduces the need for staff to field regular support calls, and offers services in both English and Spanish. This will allow Public Utilities to streamline and enhance service to Cumberland County customers.

Cumberland County Public Utilities, a division of the Engineering and Infrastructure Department, provides the planning, development and implementation of programs to expand and extend water and sanitary sewer services into unincorporated areas of the County. Cumberland County Public Utilities covers Kelly Hills, NORCRESS (Northern Cumberland Regional Sewer System) and Overhills Park water and sewer districts as well as South Point water system.
