Cumberland County Launches Online Property Tax Payments

Apr 30, 2024

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Tax Administration announces the launch of the digital platform MyCCNCPay for a convenient, secure online payment of property taxes. The new platform offers residents a flexible, user-friendly way to pay property tax bills online. Cumberland County also offers an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for residents to make payments by phone, offering services in both English and Spanish.

The MyCCNCPay platform, which launched on April 15, 2024, offers customers the ability to manage bills and real-time payment processing. To sign up for online payments, go to myccncpay.cumberlandcountync.gov.

“We are pleased to add property taxes to the growing list of services residents can access through MyCCNCPay,” said Cumberland County Tax Administrator Joe Utley. “The online service prioritizes accessibility and ease-of-use and offers Cumberland County residents a convenient option to make payments this property tax season.”

MyCCNCPay allows residents to pay online as a guest or create a personalized profile that securely stores properties, payment history and payment methods. With a MyCCNCPay account residents can enroll in e-Billing, pay in installments, and receive notifications for upcoming tax deadlines.

MyCCNCPay also equips Cumberland County staff members with an administrative portal to view and manage transactions. This will allow teams to streamline operations and improve support to Cumberland County residents.

Cumberland County residents are encouraged to pay property taxes with an electronic check, credit card or debit card via MyCCNCPay using any device. Payments may still be made in person or by mail. Property taxes are due each year on Sept. 1 and must be paid by Jan. 5 to avoid interest, penalties and/or collection proceedings.

The Cumberland County Tax Administration office is located on the 5th floor of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, 117 Dick St., Fayetteville. The mailing address is P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302. For more information, call 910-678-7507 or go to cumberlandcountync.gov/tax.
