FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Department of Public Health invites community members to participate in “Hello Health,” a lunch and learn webinar forum focused on improving health literacy in Cumberland County.
The first Hello Health webinar will be held Wednesday, Jan. 24 at noon, and the topics are an introduction of the series and the respiratory virus season. The Hello Health series will explore a different health topic important to Cumberland County. Public Health staff members and special guests will provide information with a goal of improving health literacy in our community. Residents may submit questions about monthly topics in advance of the webinar by emailing HelloHealth@cumberlandcountync.gov.
“We want individuals to be able to find, understand, and use information and services so they can make informed decisions about their health,” said Cumberland County Public Health Director Dr. Jennifer Green.
The Hello Health webinar will available live on CCNC-TV on Spectrum Cable Channel 5 and will be re-broadcast on CCNC-TV on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Webinars will also be available for viewing on the County’s YouTube Channel.
