FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Board of Commissioners Chairman Kirk deViere has called an Emergency Special Meeting of the Board and local municipal leaders to discuss the ongoing federal government shutdown and its impacts on the community.
The meeting will be held Friday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. in Room 564 of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, located at 117 Dick St., Fayetteville.
A virtual participation option for local community partners will be available upon request. The meeting will also be livestreamed on CCNCTV Spectrum Channel 5, and on the County’s YouTube channel.
A press conference will follow the meeting.
