FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Public Library will host the “31 Days of Love” campaign to support shelter pets at Cumberland County Animal Services. Throughout October, all library locations will accept donations of pet supplies to benefit the shelter.
Requested items include pet food, toys, blankets, newspapers for lining cages and other essential supplies. A full wish list is available on the Animal Services website or on Amazon by searching “Cumberland County Animal Services Wishlist.” Monetary donations can be made online or delivered to Cumberland County Animal Services at 4704 Corporation Drive in Fayetteville.
In addition to the supply drive, the library will host pet adoption events to help shelter pets find permanent homes:

Thursday, Oct. 2: 4-6 p.m. – North Regional Library, 855 McArthur Road, Fayetteville

Thursday, Oct. 9: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – West Regional Library, 7469 Century Circle, Fayetteville

Saturday, Oct. 11: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Hope Mills Community Library, 3411 Golfview Road, Hope Mills
Residents interested in adopting a pet are encouraged to visit Animal Services at 4704 Corporation Drive in Fayetteville or view adoptable pets online at cumberlandcountync.gov/animals.
Pet supply donations are accepted at Animal Services year-round, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
