FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – With Tropical Storm Idalia passing through Cumberland County and its effects dissipating, Cumberland County Emergency Services will close both of its emergency shelters this morning at 9.
The County opened emergency shelters at Smith Recreation Center and Kiwanis Recreation Center overnight through the duration of the storm for residents who needed a safe place to go.
