Taxpayers Reminded of Real Property Listing Forms

Tax Administration Office is mailing real property tax listing forms to all residents and non-residents who own real property located within the County.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Tax Administration Office is mailing real property tax listing forms to all residents and non-residents who own real property located within the County. Owners are required to list all changes or additions made to their real property for the purpose of taxation. This means any structures or buildings, additions, remodels, in-ground pools, decks, porches, patios, storage buildings, etc.

Listings are requested to be returned by Jan. 31, 2023.

Owners are asked to review the form and visit our website at taxpwa.co.cumberland.nc.us/camapwa/ for a complete review of their property’s listing. If the information listed is accurate, the form does not have to be returned. If there are corrections needed, the form should be completed and returned.

To obtain listing forms online, go to cumberlandcountync.gov, click on the Tax button and then Forms & Publications. Listing forms are available in person at the Tax Administration Office located on the 5th floor of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, located at 117 Dick St., Fayetteville.

Completed forms may be mailed to Tax Administration, Attn: Real Estate Division, P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302, emailed to taxrealestate@cumberlandcountync.gov, brought in person to Room 530 of the Courthouse or dropped in the secure drop box located beside the mailboxes in the rear parking lot at the Courthouse facing Cool Spring Street.
