The Salvation Army of the Sandhills Region will open a White Flag shelter overnight tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, as early-morning low temperatures at or below freezing are projected.
The shelter is located at 245 Alexander St., Fayetteville. Intake will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m., after dinner. The shelter will be open from 6:30 tonight until 7:00 tomorrow morning. The shelter is available to single men, women and families.
