FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Cooperative Extension will offer a Pesticide Equipment Calibration Workshop on Nov. 21 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Cooperative Extension office located at 301 E. Mountain Dr., Fayetteville.
The workshop will cover the importance and the process of calibrating pesticide application equipment. The program will start an introduction of calibration principles followed by a hands-on demonstration of calibrating a boom sprayer, backpack sprayer and a rotary spreader. Participants may earn two hours of continuing pesticide education credits in the A, B, D, G, H, I, L, N, O and X categories.
