FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Cooperative Extension will offer a free Beginning Beekeeping Course starting Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at 6 p.m. The course will cover the basic information needed to start beekeeping and will prepare students for a practical, hands-on beekeeping course to be offered in spring 2026.
Classes will be every Monday evening for six weeks at the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension office, located at 301 E. Mountain Drive in Fayetteville.
The course is free; however, preregistration is required. The course is limited to 50 participants. Preferred registration is through Eventbrite via links on the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension website at cumberland.ces.ncsu.edu.
