FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking qualified real estate brokerage services to assist in the acquisition of property.
The selected real estate brokerage firm will work with the County to secure a location, address unexpected issues as needed and work with the County Attorney's office to facilitate one or more commercial real estate transactions.

Proposals Due: 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025
Interested real estate brokerage firms must be duly licensed under the North Carolina Real Estate License Law (G.S. Chapter 93A) and comply with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission’s agency disclosure and representation rules. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, past experience, understanding of the project, adherence to proposal guidelines, cost and responses to specific vendor questions.
The selected firm will be expected to:

Develop strategies for identifying suitable properties that meet the requirements

Coordinate and participate in site tours of available properties for sale

Provide market analysis and pricing guidance with respect to negotiations

Represent the County in negotiations from time of offer to, and including, closing

Coordinate and handle all customary real estate transaction activities
