FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Animal Services and the Friends of Cumberland County Animals (FOCCAS) fed a rooster and other shelter animals a pet-friendly Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. The special meal was well received by all the animals.
FOCCAS, a non-profit that supports pets and their owners in Cumberland County, will be serving a similar Christmas meal on Dec. 17. The group will also be filling stockings for the animals with toys and treats. If you would like to donate, there is a particular need for toys and treats for large dogs.
