HOPE MILLS, N.C. — The Town of Hope Mills Parks & Recreation invites civic groups, families, local businesses, residents and schools to participate in the 2025 A Southern Christmas in the Park event by contributing to a donation drive for Cumberland County Animal Services and registering to decorate a tree as part of the park’s holiday display.
A Southern Christmas in the Park runs Dec. 15 through Jan. 2 at Hope Mills Municipal Park, located at 5766 Rockfish Rd. in Hope Mills, and will be open nightly until 8 p.m. Admission is free.
Tree registration is now open for civic groups, families, local businesses, residents and schools interested in decorating a tree for public display. Registration forms and additional information are available at www.townofhopemills.com/1596/A-Southern-Christmas-in-the-Park.
All proceeds (100%) will be donated directly to Cumberland County Animal Services. Donations may also be made online in increments of $10 at https://secure.rec1.com/NC/hope-mills-nc/catalog?filter=c2VhcmNoPTM5NzU4MTA=.
A Southern Christmas in the Park will also feature walk-through light displays, vendor booths, holiday music and scheduled appearances by Santa Claus.
