FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County Animal Services will participate in the nationwide BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters event from Monday, Dec. 1 through Monday, Dec. 15, 2025. Adoption fees will be waived for all shelter pets.
Animal Services is located at 4704 Corporation Drive, Fayetteville, and is open for adoptions Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Adoptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and up to two pets per household may be adopted. Adopters must be at least 18 years old and present a valid photo ID.
All adopted pets will receive the following services:
Adoption fees are normally $100 for dogs and $70 for cats, which include the above services. These fees will be waived during the Empty the Shelters event.
