FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville–Cumberland County Continuum of Care on Homelessness (CoC), is seeking committed community volunteers to assist with the 2026 Point-In-Time (PIT) Count, which will take place from 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, through 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026. The PIT Count is a federally required annual effort that provides critical data on the number of individuals and families experiencing homelessness nationwide.
Volunteer shifts are available during the following times:
Individuals interested in volunteering are encouraged to register for a specific shift and role by visiting www.surveymonkey.com/r/MHFGY2Z.
The 2026 PIT Count HUB location will be at First Baptist Church, 302 Moore St., Fayetteville.
