FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Animal Services is partnering with the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society (FAPS) to expand access to spay and neuter services.
The partnership includes funding through FAPS’ donor-supported Spay It Forward program to assist with sterilization services for animals currently in shelter and foster care.
“We value strong partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to animal welfare,” said Animal Services Director Diane Pfeifer. “We appreciate FAPS stepping forward to help expand access to critical spay and neuter services. Collaboration like this helps us continue our mission of protecting public health and safety, promoting responsible pet ownership, and improving the welfare of both animals and the community we serve.”
“This partnership demonstrates what can be accomplished when community organizations and local government work together toward shared goals,” said FAPS Executive Director Jackie Peery. “We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate and help support the animals in our community.”
