The Senior Living Expo is a free event that provides opportunities for activities, fellowship and interaction with vendors that maybe of interest or beneficial. There will be door prizes, giveaways and entertainment. The first-floor DSS conference rooms are accessible via the Hillsboro Street entrance.
New to the Senior Living Expo will be the FirstHealth LungBus, offering free lung cancer screenings to eligible individuals. The screenings are made possible by the Foundation of FirstHealth. To be eligible for the free lung cancer screenings individuals must:

-
Be a current smoker or have quit within the past 15 years
-
Have a 20 pack-year smoking history

May is Older Americans Month. The theme for the 2026 Observance is “Moving with Purpose: Health, Hope and Happiness.” The goal of the Senior Living Expo is to educate and connect the population of residents aged 50 and up with information about services and benefits available through the Older Americans Act and other government-funded programs. Seniors, along with their families and caregivers, are invited to attend.
