The Cumberland County Board of Elections reminds residents One-Stop early voting for the March 3 primary ends Saturday, Feb. 29. The primary is for all political affiliations.
Hours for the Board of Elections office are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 29.
Hours for the other locations are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 29.
One-Stop voting sites:
- Board of Elections, 227 Fountainhead Lane
- Cliffdale Recreation Center, 6404 Cliffdale Rd.
- East Regional Library, 4809 Clinton Rd.
- Hope Mills Recreation Center, 5766 Rockfish Rd., Hope Mills
- J.D. Pone Recreation Center, 2964 School Rd.
- North Regional Library, 855 McArthur Rd.
- Smith Recreation Center, 1520 Slater Ave.
Residents may register and vote at any One-Stop early voting location.
Voters will NOT be required to show photo ID for the March 3 primary election. Voters who wish to vote on March 3 should report to their precinct. All precincts will open at 6:30 a.m. March 3 and close at 7:30 p.m.
Absentee ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by March 3 and received no later than March 6; if returned in person no later than March 3 at 5 p.m.
Elections Returns Gathering March 3 at Crown Ballroom
Once the polls close at 7:30 p.m. on March 3, the public is invited to view the Cumberland County election results in the Crown Complex Ballroom, located at 1960 Coliseum Dr., Fayetteville.
The unofficial results from the State Board of Elections website will be projected on the large screens in the room. Candidates, supporters, media outlets and residents are welcome to gather together to await the numbers.
The ballroom will open at 7 p.m. and will close promptly once the results from the last precincts have been reported. Public parking will be in the West VIP Parking Lot.
