FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County, in partnership with the City of Fayetteville and community partners, will open Warming Centers on Tuesday, Feb. 24, in response to expected below-freezing temperatures.

All eight libraries will open as warming centers.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Headquarters, Cliffdale Regional, Hope Mills and North Regional libraries are open Sundays from 2 - 6 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to check on neighbors, older adults and individuals without reliable heat. Pets should also be brought indoors during freezing temperatures.
