FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Department of Social Services (DSS) will hold the annual Senior Living Expo on May 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the first-floor conference rooms of the DSS building, located at 1225 Ramsey St., Fayetteville.
May is Older Americans Month, and the theme for the 2026 observance is “Champion Your Health.” The goal of the Senior Living Expo is to educate and connect the population of residents aged 50 and up with information about services and benefits available through the Older Americans Act and other federal programs. Seniors, along with their families and caregivers, are invited to attend.
The Senior Living Expo is a free event that provides opportunities for activities, fellowship and interaction with vendors that maybe of interest or beneficial. There will be door prizes, giveaways and entertainment. The first-floor DSS conference rooms are accessible via the Hillsboro Street entrance.
