FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Animal Services will waive adoption fees for select shelter animals from May 23-30, giving residents an opportunity to provide loving homes for pets in need.
The free adoption event applies only to animals currently housed at the shelter that have already been spayed or neutered. Adoption limits are two cats or kittens or one dog or puppy per household.
Additional shelter animals may become available throughout the week as they complete the spay and neuter process. Residents are encouraged to visit throughout the week, as available animals may change daily.
The event is made possible through the support of the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society (FAPS), whose recent donation to support spay and neuter services is helping more animals become adoption-ready.
